The VLT®Automation Drive is designed for variable speed control of all asynchronous and permanent magnet motors. It is available in a standard version (FC 301) and an advanced, highly dynamic version (FC 302) with additional features. It helps to save energy, increase flexibility, reduce costs related to spare parts and maintenance, and optimize the process control of any industrial machine or production line.
The VLT AutomationDrive is based on a flexible modular design concept and offers versatile control. Its robust construction ensures maximum uptime. It is equipped with a wide range of standard industry functions that can be extended with"Plug & Play"options. A user-friendly graphical control panel ensures that the drive is easy to set up and operate, saving commissioning and running costs.
Enclosures are available up to Nema 4X (depending on model). Integrated DC chokes and RFI filters on all models protect the unit by minimizing harmonic distortion and electromagnetic interference.
The VLT AutomationDrive can also be used for applications that require the execution of highly accurate positioning and synchronization operations. Integrated Motion Controller (IMC) functionality can now be configured in the drive's software. No additional modules or hardware are required.
All drives have been fully tested at the factory. They require very little maintenance and offer a fast return on investment.
